Step 8: Pour few drops of vanilla essence into the mixture.

Section 2: Steam Cooking:

Step 1: Take an aluminum or steel container and grease it with butter or white oil.

Step 2: The container should have an air tight cover so that steam cannot go inside. If you don’t have a container with air-tight cover, then simply place a cover/steel plate on the container and then place any heavy utensil on it. That will ensure it air-tight.

Step 3: Pour the whole mixture into the bowl.

Step 4: Put a Kadai or Sauce Pan on medium flame.

Step 5: Pour 2-3 cups of plain water into the Kadai and then place the bowl on it.

Step 6: Take it out after 30 to 40 minutes.

Your Apple Pudding is all set for Christmas Eve you can serve it hot or cold J
Garnish it with Almonds or any dry fruit of your choice and honey.

Few tips for making the dish:
1. Do not cut or chop the apple in advance. Due to the high iron component it tends to become black if left in the open for few seconds.
2. Vegetarians can try it with custard powder and butter.
3. You can use any fruit or any flavour instead of Apple and Vanilla essence.
4. Do not use the bread crust, only inside of the bread slice is to be used for the pudding.

5. Ratio of egg to bread is 2:1.
